I feel you it sucks, I’m going through the same thing too while just starting college. Here’s a few tips 1) Don’t beat yourself up for stuttering, it’s gonna happen at some point, especially during more nervous or intense moments. Just ride it out. 2) Start your name with a phrase. It may seem more stressful trying to add extra syllables in there, but it can be a nice guide into saying your name. Examples: “Hey I’m…” “Hi there, my name is…” “My name’s…” 3) Try to release a bit of tension from your speech muscles while saying it. It may be a bit awkward to take the time to do it, but it’s worth it in terms of getting the words out. Visualize and pretend like your words are coming out like a “slide.”
