I absolutely think its taboo, frowned upon, and creates judgement. I have also found tricks for hiding it. Honestly, most of my coworkers probably don't even know I stutter. I will say that WFH has been a game changer for me. So much so that I found a new job that was 100% WFH once my previous employer started making people come back to tge office. Anxiety? Holy shit yes. All day, every day. It's exhausting. I do swap words as well but usually end up just talking a bit slower when I feel a block ir stutter coming. I don't need to tell you this, but it's really hard work.
