All those people saying "go on face your stutter, don't let it control your life" please be careful with this advice. Just because it worked for you it doesn't mean that OP should go all our embracing his stutter, especially given the fact you don't know anything about him/herself or their stutter. Loads of good advice though, mainly pointing out that the people don't give a damn whether you stutter or not.
