33F, single, moderate to sometimes severe stutter. Dating is hard for non-stutterers and seems almost impossible for us. The general consensus I’ve gotten from this sub regarding dating, from men to men, is “the right girl for you won’t care”. But are there any men out there who won’t care about our stutter as women? I use dating apps and always tell them before a first date in case they’ll have a problem with it. I’ve had guys suddenly get “sick” and cancel the date, or some say it won’t bother them and still want to meet but they’re visibly uncomfortable on the date and ghost me after. It’s exhausting.
