I would seek out a speech language pathologist with a speciality in stuttering (fluency). Late onset stuttering this late is rare but not unheard of. I'd try to find someone who has experience with this if you can. But don't just go see the first therapist you find because most don't deal with stuttering very much and don't know how to effectively work with it. As far as practice life advice, the most important one is say is that it's ok to stutter. You can still communicate well, tell stories, and do it with some stuttering. Nearly all of the hardships of stuttering come from us trying to not stutter.
