yeah ive read john harrisons redefining stuttering book and it really is a breakthrough book focusing on the psychological . But It goes so deep that you get stressed that Oh I have to solve sooo much before I can speak fluently and makes you hopeless. But it really isnt that deep, consistent voluntary stuttering everyday + improving your self in other areas of your life (like confidence, assertiveness, self love) will generally reduce 90 percent of your stutter. Plus never trying to perfect your speech because look at the most successful speakers and smartest individuals; elon musk for example, ive never seen him speak without these small stutters, and so what? People in 2024 still blaming stuttering on genetics and mechanical problems baffles me, like john harrison has been using the psychological approach for like 40 years. So im thinking of making it one of my main goals of letting people discover the psychological approach of stuttering and letting this approach gain traction.
