There is debate on this forum whether or not stuttering is psychological og physiological. Some begin stuttering after being bullied, or experiencing traumatic events. Me myself, as many others, was born with a stutter. Whatever that means.. I personally believe that many stutterers stutter because of lack of conficede. Some speculate that dopamine, cortisol and many of these daily regulators affect stuttering. I would suggest thinking about if there has happend anything is your life recently that could effect your stutter. I know I began to stutter more after a breakup (confidence related), but it’s better now. You could also try exercising more, doing a dopamine detox, eating healthier and doing things you know are good for you. You probably also think about it too much. Try not thinking about it. Consider quitting speech therapy. Live your life as if you don’t stutter, and see over the course of some months if you get better.
