Been with my current girlfriend for nearly 3 years. She is amazingly supportive about my stutter. Not once has she teased me about it, made me feel uncomfortable or anything untoward. She even encourages me to breathe, slow down, etc. She has been the best person in the world to me about it, no one compares. So, it hasn't reflected our relationship at all. Previous girlfriends were also aware of it and it wasn't an issue - plain and simple, I don't let it affect relationships. I won't take shit about my stutter from anyone and I don't let it get in the way of talking to other people/forming new friendships. You can't let it beat you like that. You are more than a speech impediment.
