Well, one of the downsides of any program that requires physical speaking techniques, is that you sometimes have to be conscious of what your body is doing. Which can be a distraction to the conversation you are having with the other person. Best case scenario remembering to exhale after you speak so that you can start with the potential for a full breath, will become a habit that you do naturally. It might be a mix of consciously remembering to do it, but it also being an automatic habit. Also practice it while you do “contacts” (placing phone calls and approaching strangers). Does that make sense?
