It did help me... But I don't have a "real" stutter. I just have a hard time thinking about what I'm about to say when I'm nervous (which is all the time) and on the outside it looks like stutter. Hypnotherapy and other techniques helped me with my concentration when I'm under pressure, so I guess it might partially help you too. I travelled to another city for it so I wouldn't have to pay the capital's prize, it's not cheap.
