Do you also speak too fast sometime?

Do you also speak too fast sometime? Despite being stutter this is something I face on daily basis. When I get a smooth flow I tend to speak fluently without getting stuck. Few days back, I was explaining my presentation to one of my team mates and according to him I was being too fast and he couldn't understand most of the thing. This is the same phenomena I face when I go to shops. Does anyone feel this too? **How to overcome it? It's really embarrassing?**
