I remember watching this with my parents, but I walked out (we rented at home) before maybe even 10-15 minutes in (might be less IDK) due to the stuttering. I just felt terrible and felt like I was watching my own struggles on screen and couldn't take it. Still haven't gone back to it and probably never will. I do like Colin Firth, but that movie is just not for me. Flowers for Algernon was another movie that I hated. I believe it had someone who at least struggled with speech problems due to some illness, but I couldn't leave due to watching it at school. My mindset now seems to be better at not internalizing my insecurities into media, but not sure how far that'll reach.
