What I’ve noticed with fluent people is their tendency to say “um” and have frequent pauses. Use this to your advantage! Maybe don’t say “um” but have frequent pauses and breaks where necessary and *breathe*. This means deep diaphragmatic breathing, not quick breaths. Try to make as much eye contact with people as possible. Don’t let people know you stutter, make them think you’re just a normal person! You’ve got this! (If you happen to get a bad grade, make sure to bring your stutter up with the teacher. They can’t give you a bad grade over something you have little control over.)
