I don’t know your age but when I was growing up I let my stutter control my life! I never made good friends because I was that quite kid who skipped school 90% of the time. Once I got out of high school and started working full time I realized nobody really cares about your stutter. Sure people may bring it up but ultimately they don’t care as long as you get the work done. I learned to live my life as if I didn’t have a stutter and people around me started treating me as if I didn’t have a stutter. I never bring it up or tell people I have a stutter and 99% of the time nobody ever says a word about it. I work in a position where I do weekly presentations with clients and internal team members and not once has somebody said anything about my stutter. Doing this has helped my confidence.
