I know… it’s almost like the fear of having to look at them in the eyes when you start stuttering…. It’s hard cause it doesn’t seem like they look at you the same as a non stutterer. I don’t stutter but my husband does. I knew of a girl that did and I made sure she knew when she stuttered I was looking at her patiently the same as I would a non stutterer. Don’t be afraid. It is who you are. You just have to get thick skin and not let it get to you.
