I'm not telling *you* not to do it, I'm explaining why I really don't want to. There is a difference between "not hiding" and "searching for ways to make the problem worse". To me, this idea sounds *more* like the latter than the former. It really isn't about hiding, it's about not actively making it worse. I do best when I avoid things that make me stutter such as using the phone, thinking about stuttering, being around other stutters, etc. This idea seems to actively seek out things that make the stuttering worse. But if it doesn't for you, or you want to do it anyway, then that's spectacular and I really truly hope it helps you and everybody else who does it. And if it does, then please let me know, because I will join if it actually helps. Til then, it sounds very nope-y to me. Cheers.
