Since you're 16 all the jobs know you can only work x amount of hours a week to do school and labor laws so they won't be exactly hurrying to hire you. Idk how it works in your area but in mine we had to get permission from our school to be able to start working during high school. You could try making food and selling it or do old fashion mowing lawns while you look for regular work. Once you turn 18 you can start getting into other industries (shipping/warehouse/etc). When I turned 18 I started doing warehouse/shipping jobs and for the most part they're pretty physical but I saw it as: 1. Getting paid to workout and 2. Don't have to talk to as many people. Only real advice I can give is keep pushing those applications and have someone look over your applications before you submit them.
