I read this book and it completely shifted my perspective on confidence and stutter One of my good friends, Ryan Cowley, wrote a book on his lived experience as a person who stutters and how he gained his confidence in becoming a sportswriter at CBC! Confidence is often a metaphorical unicorn; it looks like such a magical experience but it feels damn near impossible to get. Ryan's journey in being confident as a public speaker and being in a field that regularly involves speaking is an incredibly unique yet relatable experience. Here is a link to his book: [https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09CW5456B/ref=dbs\_a\_def\_rwt\_hsch\_vapi\_tkin\_p1\_i1](https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09CW5456B/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_hsch_vapi_tkin_p1_i1) It's called "All the Right Words: My journey as a Sportswriter Who Stutters. I just read the book and found it to be incredibly refreshing that this genuinely felt like a raw story told as though you were having a conversation with him. This is a self-published book so you find that the writing isn't as formal and, honestly, it truly does tell Ryan's story in all the right words. If this post isn't allowed, please feel free to delete it! I just wanted to share this book to other people who stutter 🙂
