Bro, you are not broken. You are feeling bad because you have finally reached your FTE. Your FUCK-THIS-EVENT. This is crucial. I have been there, going about my high school years bouncing from embarrassing moment in class to another. I was very shut-in because of this. Avoiding all social interactions at all costs. Presentations and public reading were like the devil for me. The pain got unbearable, I reached my lowest point. But when you are down in the depths, you got only upwards left to go. Use these painful experiences as a reminder that you MUST pursue improvement. Your stutter isn't going to go away by itself. Fortunately, I realized this early and after 2 years of hard work(including exposure therapy) I achieved a "Worry-Free" stutter. It is almost unnoticeable now to the casual listener. I found my passion in helping other people with speech difficulties, telling them my method of improvement. I would love to help you too, if you have some time to chat. Anyone can DM me, freely.
