First of all: You gotta stutter. I know, that sounds ridiculous, but you've gotta get out of the mindset that stuttering is something you must avoid at all costs. Stutter is just a thing that happens to some. Don't worry about fluency - worry about being at ease with what happens. Then, I suggest you seek out a professional. Speech therapy can help you manage your stutter. Again: The goal isn't fluency as such. It's management. If your stutter ceases as a result, that's just an added bonus. Stutter isn't holding you back. *Your fear of stuttering* is. Start today - talk and stutter to whoever you want. Do you have someone close to you who you'd like to try it with?
