The fact that you are able to express yourself in such a detailed way is already a huge step in the right direction. The biggest advice I can give you is to stop caring about what other kids say. Because only you can determine who you are and what you become. As far as your girlfriend, talk to her. Don’t be afraid to ask her how she feels. Finally, my stutter was my excuse for a lot of things I didn’t do growing up. Don’t be like me. Don’t be ashamed of it, embrace it. Educate your peers on stuttering. You may also be interested in checking out the Speech-easy. It’s a device that plays a delayed voice (yours) into your ear as you talk and it’s helped my stutter tremendously.
