I just don't think it's fair to generalize like that. I definitely don't have a need to please others. I'm not overly concerned with other people's opinions. I feel that that's more of an age thing and tends to describe younger people in general. I'm close to 30 but when when I was in high school or college of course I was concerned with how other people saw me.... but so does basically everybody else at that age.
