I’m both in speech therapy as of now and go to a few local support groups that meets monthly virtually. Speech therapy and the support group allowed me to be vulnerable and my authentic self while not trying to hide or feel ashamed of my stutter. It is really a great experience to be around others who are like you. If you live in the US local support groups can be found on the NSA website. There is also a Discord “Stuttering Support Group”.
