Respectfully, I am tired of seeing replies with “Oh I met partner on a dating app a decade ago” or “I met my wife and we’ve been married for almost 30 years you just have to keep trying!” When it comes to dating it is becoming a trend I am continuously seeing on this forum. Notice how barely anyone has recently commented on finding a partner? Well that’s because dating is different now! With the rise of social media dating has already become harder for men because women believe they have more options, and men are no longer just competing for a woman’s attention in his local area, he is competing with hundreds if not thousands online for the attention of a single woman. Now factor this in for someone who stutters, a condition that already made dating & meeting new people difficult, and can you imagine what it’s like now?!
