Stuttering in kids

Stuttering in kids So how long do I wait before sending my kid for evaluation with a SLP? My daughter just turned 2 and the mother reported that she seems to be repeating words. I know when they are picking up vocabulary and getting to speak.. they can stutter but given I am a lifelong stutterer myself, I fear the worst and want to get her the help needed ASAP. This has always been one of biggest fears.. my heart sunk when the mum informed me about it. (Yes, I know it's not a death sentence and there are worse conditions but it makes life hard )
