In my country you aren't allowed to become an SLP, maybe even join some army forces if you stutter. I thinks your answer is it depends on the person and the severity. I was just thinking the other day, I should be realistic I can't become a psychotherapist or psychiatrist, I stutter severely. Is there someone out there who does those professions nonetheless?
