Personally, my high school was really chill and there was barely any discrimination. My club fared the same, and when I stuttered, especially in cross examination where I had to think of answers on the fly, no one cared and would just wait until I got out what I needed to say. In college, I assure you people will be even more mature and understanding. Debate club especially, is where you'll likely find plenty of people similar to you trying to find their strongest voice and work on their speech. You don't have to hide anything; debate is about dissecting and addressing the person's argument, not the person itself.
