You learn how to physically control your stutter through a natural speaking technique which involves using costal breathing and you learn tools to manage blocks and other disfluency when it arises out of our control, and to be able to quickly get back into control. You learn to let go of all those nasty habits and tricks such as word replacement and using some physical crutch such as hand tapping, etc. You also learn how to properly pronounce sounds and become very self aware of why and how you stutter. Then you learn how to overkill fear, words, sounds, . You also learn how to communicate professionally, learn public speaking skills and things like talking on the phone, Skype, etc. Look it up on Google, there is so much information on it. It's been around since 1994 with tens of thousands of "graduates" coming out of the programme and living a life of eloquent speech.
