Thank you for such a thorough response. I work as a resource nurse and I float between the ER and pretty much every other ward in our acute hospitals. I think the floating is now getting to me... adding more and more unneeded stress and anxiety that doesn’t help my stutter. I have been in this position for 7 years since finishing school. I can relate to a lot of your frustrations. Giving report, saying my name, calling a rude doc etc etc Right now my speech also is a little rough. It comes and it goes. Sometimes I’m so fluent I shock myself and other times (like now) I find it so hard to get words out.
