I’m the only person in both of my family trees with a stutter, what could be the cause of it?

I’m the only person in both of my family trees with a stutter, what could be the cause of it? I have ADHD, but so does my brother and one of my cousins, and they don’t have a stutter, nor does anyone in my family. Are there non genetic causes?
