Obviously, it was a very severe incident. I'm sorry. **IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!** You didn't decide to stutter. You had a severe block. Cut yourself some slack. You did nothing wrong. And maybe they didn't either. Maybe they don't understand. You want to be friends with these people, extend a little trust. Send a message explaining that you have a stutter, and that at times, it can get really bad. Most importantly, be kind to yourself. If you hate yourself or feel that others are repulsed by you, those aren't healthy feelings. You have to love yourself.
