New job stutter Hey guys, Yesterday I had training for a new job, and it's my first job ever. Not only do I have a stutter and suffer from blocks, but I also have crippling and severe social anxiety. As a result of this, finding a job has not been easy for me. I am a college graduate but I figured I'd ease into things by doing a job I can manage first. Anyway, during the training yesterday which I was already stressed about, someone came up to me and introduced themselves. I don't know if I was stressed or what but I blocked and stuttered while saying nice to meet you too. He looked at me like I was crazy and boom self esteem dropped even more. The training itself lasted about 4 hours. We were broken up into groups of 10 and were sent with a trainer. Honestly I did okay on some things but on others I was pretty clueless. It didn't help that they only allow you try things once and then move on. Honestly I'm pretty stressed out about the whole thing. I officially start on Wednesday and I feel like I'm gonna mess up a ton. My anxiety coupled with my stutter is gonna be a roadblock. It also doesn't help that I've never worked in a warehouse or anywhere for that matter. Any of you guy's ever worked in a warehouse environment and if so how long did it take you to get the hang of things?
