Different for everyone, I know, but coming at it from another perspective... when my SO has a block and gets stuck on a word, usually if I say the word she gets unblocked and can continue the conversation. Saves us both time and her some struggle. Plus if I get the word wrong, it helps to unblock her because she almost has to reset.
