I think there just can't be a magical drug. And the problem is not in money. 1 % of population is a HUGE amount of money for pharmaceutical company. I work in one and we produce drugs for really rare diseases treatment (like 0.01 % in population). Even with such low numbers the market is huge. Not very supportive, but at this point of time that's the truth. You have bad timed now, but the sun will rise again and you'll overcome the problem. I really feel you, mate.
