About the last part feeling hesitant , something like this happened with me once and the girls basically bitched about me being some weirdo who can't speak shit and just wants empathy from people ( smh akin to clout-chaser acc to them ) Stuttering isn't a taboo - Correct but people behave like it is one , so many times I have had bad experiences at retail places coz I couldn't speak and they just mixed up my order and gave me what I didn't want ( and being anti-social I took it and ran away , crying in my mind how miserable me life is ) . Not to mention people seeing Stuttering as just part of 'lack of confidence' , It's really a fallacy , my lack of confidence came coz I was the butt of every class joke ( to an extent I stopped going to school ) \*because\* of my stuttering , it has ruined my academic and social life and let my grades drop a bit coz the educationalists can't find the difference between genuine stutter and lack of confidence ( Even in Standardized speaking tests , I had the worst performance thanks to it and thus it looked really bad on the scoresheet ) . To the world , stuttering not being a big deal for the world , Yes that's true , most class bullies don't even remember me but the disgust of their activities still hands me down shivers of anxiety and shame , that part is equally important as well , The world simply brushes stuttering off as something people have not recognizing late teenage and early adulthood stuttering is a disability . Not a rant or hate-comment directed towards by any means but I just think stuttering isn't as less as people make it ought to be , maybe it's just my opinion and truth is something else but I presented my opinion on views being expressed and hope nobody takes offence from this .
