Support him in every way possible. Perhaps help him to challenge his anxieties and give him the room to grow. As long as he knows he has "permission" to, you should see some changes in him. Some others on this subreddit openly tell people at the beginning of presentations that they stutter and/or have certain difficulties. It's personal preference as to whether he wants to do this or not. Hope this helps!
