I don’t think it could hurt. It may also help to just give her a heads up if it’s going to affect your interactions with her. My husband stutters, and even though I knew he stuttered (it’s pretty obvious), I didn’t really get what the impact was until he told me. I didn’t realize how much physically harder talking was for him, so I just assumed that he wasn’t saying much to me because he was bored or not interested. It made things much more comfortable once he told me that he liked talking to me but it was just difficult.
