Such a weird one for me!! I was 4 when my stutter became a thing. I could talk perfectly fine for my age but we had a firework night and I wasn’t aware any was being let off as we was all stood outside. Next thing that happens my dad set off a 1000 shot firework and it scared the hell out of me. From that night I just couldn’t talk? I had to learn how to talk again and I had such an incredibly bad stutter all the way through primary school It’s still apparent now, the severe bullying in school didn’t help this. I can now have conversations with people with the odd stutter that comes into play. I always try and have conversations with strangers to try and tackle this. So far it’s working and I’m not longer afraid to talk to people (80% of the time)
