You can't catch stuttering. If a little child growing up hears a parent stutter when they are learning to speak they may copy them, which is a good incentive to work on stopping stuttering. Not enough support places tell stutterers it's possible to stop stuttering, which is a terrible thing. Acceptance is only for things you can not change. Fortunately for us stuttering is not one of those things. If you can speak better when you are alone then theoretically there's nothing wrong with you because you can't have a true disability based on your location.
