Late 20s here. Honestly, this is a tough battle and there is nothing I can say that will immediately help you, but maybe it gives you hope. I'm currently doing IT, I take phone calls 8hrs a day/40hrs a week. Some days are better and some are hard. Luckily, I have an awesome management that understands. However, when I was your age, I felt the same way, I NEVER saw myself doing this. I just wanted to get a job working behind the scenes, not talking to anyone. I guess God heard me because he gave me that job (factory) and I hated every minute of it. I was just fed up, and decided I'm not scared of this stutter anymore. With that mentality, I just take this day by day. Moreover, I literally got through college with the help of alcohol. I wouldn't recommend that route at all. So, like I said, this ain't easy, especially at your age. But, just keep on going. Aren't you curious to see where you end up in life? I know I am.
