Correct me if I’m wrong but based on my experience, I do know that if you have a child that stutters and grew out of it. It is not neurological. Likely physical. (Easy fix with speech therapy) If you have a child and they still stutter today. Likely genetics (if family history has stuttering) or neurological if some sort of trauma. If you develop it as a teen/adult, it’s likely neurological. (Trauma, severe depression, head injury, stroke, etc)
