I thought about that a lot, my stutter protected me In a way, I can be very talkative even with my stutter I yap too much, miss perspectives, say the wrong things, etc. Without the brakes of my stutter I'd probably be truly dead socially and chronically embarrassed, I see this part of myself in my 9 yo brother so that's like seeing the what if everyday. But that's just a small candle in the darkness, I'd absolutely choose a life without stutter if I had the choice.
