Yeah, I think it is all from a good place though. A lot of people do not have experience talking or being friends with people who have disabilities, or stutters, so they just do not know the proper way to approach these situations. They do not know how these people want to be treated. For instance, this happened to me when someone called my stutter cute, but that was just because they did not even think of my stutter as a disability, even though I mourn over it and criticize myself so much for having it.
