I don't often get a break between calls, if I do it's a few seconds unless we're on hold to someone. Its call after call for me, which isn't bad but its nice to get a break in there too. I get what you mean, when my voice gets weak and tired my stutter is usually so much worse and my mouth gets dry too which affects my normal speech top and usually at that stage, there's nothing can be done until i get like a 15min break. I do hear myself use different tones and levels when speaking but I wouldn't say I have a set customer service voice, it's just however I feel I guess and which tone works best. Usually the deeper pitched ones sound better imo and I don't stutter as much but my voice can crack still and when it does its more noticeable like that. I'm looking for other jobs at the moment, not specifically because of my stutter but it does play a part too. I think after I leave this call centre, I'll not return to one again but we'll see how it goes workwise.
