Funding Support for PWS Hello everyone. I am sorry to digress but I had a situation last week where I was invited to do a business pitch for my business so that it can be selected for funding. I did 2 pitches but they were all a mess. I just froze and words could not come after trying to repeat words. Also due to my stutter I always get overwhelmed and extremely scared if I have to talk infront of people. It takes long time for me to get back to normal so a 2 minutes pitch won’t work for me because it’s too short. I told the people that I am a person with a stutter but looked like they didn’t care. So everything fell apart. So here is my biggest cry. Is there no investors, funders, well wishers, venture capitalists and the like who are prepared to fund people who stutter but have brilliant startups or already running businesses. I have been trying to pitch many times for many different investors and funders but it all comes back to the same story. Can we as people who stutter (PWS) start an organisation that can mobilize for financial assistance, venture capitals, training etc to support people who stutter? Otherwise it is very difficult to compete out there.
