That's what I mean, I describe it like a printer running out of ink to my friend, I want to keep talking to someone but it doesn't work anymore and I start only saying like 3 words. I don't know why it happens and I have to leave the conversation and cool off each time it happens because I get embarrassed I can't talk regularly anymore. Yeah it is common, but not in the way you are thinking I guess. Like how epilepsy is alot more common here than in other towns around. Like how at least 2 students will have an episode every few months, a good handful of people have a form of stuttering and get embarrassed if you talk to them a certain way (like talking more simple as if they can't understand you). Common to me is if we even have people with them in town, sorry if that's not how you understand it. I do get anxious like that when I forget words and names, just yesterday I couldn't even order food without having to backtrack almost the entire order. Sometimes i'll just stop talking since nothing comes out when someone asks a question or says something. If you're annoyed and don't actually care that's fine, just stop replying, i've lived with whatever this weird talking thing is for years (though this year is slightly different than usual, i've never had words just stop working, the only reason I want some kind of help) and can find out myself how to deal with it. I literally just wanted a name if it was a type of stuttering, a name if it was a common speech issue, or even just a fuck off would have been better so I didn't waste my time. Again don't reply if you don't actually wanna help, I hate random arguing some people do when they don't understand something. It's not like I understand what's wrong either.
