Agreed. This was my exact thought as I read this post. If someone would have came up with a magic cure back when I was in middle school (my worst years as a stutterer) I would have made it go away in a heartbeat. But having grown since then, you learn to see that there's so much more out there to stress about than having a stutter. You live and you learn to adapt to it. Of course not everyone is the same, but for some people, they've learn to work around it. It doesn't necessarily mean that they don't stutter anymore but rather that they've learned to look past it.
