stuttering leaves me so fatigued It's honestly difficult to express with words(literally) how exhausting this shit is. My stutter is constantly at the forefront of my mind, and it's gotten to the point that I've become unbearably fatigued. I truthfully have no clue how I'm supposed to successfully navigate social interactions when I am constantly fixating on the execution of my speech, or lack thereof. Been going to speech therapy, and while that allows me to experience some semblance of fluency, albeit in a controlled environment, I find it almost impossible to utilize the strategies in real life interactions due to how fast paced and unpredictable those situations can be. Despite that, I'm going to keep working on and honing the techniques taught to me by my speech therapist in hopes that eventually I'll see progress. To me stuttering is a beast that you can either be bested by or one that you can tame and learn to coexist with.
