Definitely. If I have written a speech I would stutter pretty badly. But if I just learn my topic and don't prepare any speech but just speak from what I know, I am significantly more fluent. Wish I figured this out in high school, presentations would have gone much more smoothly lol. Kinda puts a damper on people saying "you're speaking faster than you can think".
