So I have only done in-person therapy, and have not had therapy recently. But it seems to me that online therapy is probably a better option anyway, as it is more convenient and seems less expensive. You say you have found online sources. Do be careful of grand promises, but I do believe therapy can help quite a bit. It helped me. If you want advice on selecting a therapist, I would say do your best to verify that the therapist is reputable and also make sure he or she has time to work with you. If I were you, I would try to do at least two sessions per week to start, so you can start to working on this as quickly as possible.
